"Dr Sarah Haddy was great and really took the time to render services effectively to ensure my dog is in good health and receives the necessary care. She and other staff were patient and answered all of my questions while educating me on vaccines and other services that could be beneficial to my pet. I really felt like my dog received adequate attention and was taken good care of. Furthermore, this clinic is very clean and provides a safe and calm environment for your pet. Overall, I highly recommend this vet clinic."
"Worth taking the time and give them a rating. First time here today with my puppy, everyone from the front of house staff to everyone in the back. I was a little anxious as was my puppy, Miranda had me feeling like the best dog owner with the best puppy in the world. If “Vibes” are important to you, this is the place to go. Very friendly."
"Decided not to get Banfield because my dog is younger (4yrs old) and bring him here for yearly check ups instead. They do his flea, ticks, heart worm meds, and the normal set of tests. Great Vets here and super nice staff. I prefer this over Banfield, other than if I had an elderly dog with more health checks than a yearly."
"We have a rescue dog. He has a lot of trust issues and we’ve had challenges with other vets. Larchmont Village Vet is amazing, they recognise that our pup is not the most social dog and work with him and us to make sure he gets excellent care. The whole team is amazing and we are very happy"
"We've been with Larchmont Village Vet since 2019. We came for Dr. Fishman, who was adored by many in the positive reviews online. And for the first year or so, we were very happy with our experiences there. She was caring and patient, which we really appreciated. Beyond the first year or so, we were no longer given the option to schedule appointments with Dr. Fishman, and instead, were only sent to the other doctors - who were fine, but they were not our dogs' doctors. We were disappointed to be handed off like that, but didn't feel we needed to find a new practice because of this. As time went on, it became increasingly difficult to simply schedule an appointment. I can't call without being placed on at least a 5-10 minute hold, which many of us who work do not have time for. Once we could secure an appointment, it was rarely kept. We would show up on time, early in fact, and my dog would still be placed in a crate in the back while they caught up with other patients. There were times he was done/ready and I wasn't notified to come back to pick him up, I had to call and inquire about why it was taking so long. They always seem to be super behind. If you can't keep an appointment, we would be understanding, IF we were given the opportunity to reschedule before driving all the way there and having to wait. Our one dog is very nervous at the vet, and the thought of him being scared and sitting in a crate for extended periods of time because they can't keep his appointment is upsetting. I've hit my breaking point. I've tried several times to call and schedule my senior dog's annual checkup, and cannot get anyone on the phone. Each time, someone picks up and quickly/rudely asks if they can put me on a "brief hold" that is never brief. No call back either. So I give up. I have found another vet and am moving on from Larchmont, sadly. We really loved Dr. Fishman, the couple times we were allowed to see her, and wish things weren't ending on such negative terms."
