"Last time I visited, albeit over 20 years ago, you could purchase a nice sit down meal as an add-on to your tramway ticket. The cost was quite reasonable to add the meal and it was really high quality food. I think they only have an add-on meal option on the last trams of the day. Sad they took that away. On the day we visited, there was quite a wait for a table so we opted to get something quick to eat at the Pine's Cafe, which is another option at the top. I reviewed that experience separately. Overall I thought the food seemed pricy. Posted the current menu (as of early 2024) below. I realize prices are going to be higher since you're at the top of a mountain but there are tram cars running regularly hauling water and supplies (in addition to guests) a few times an hour. Supplies are not being hauled up by sherpas on multi-day journeys."
"We had a business event at the restaurant, so it was more of a buffet. The food was actually really good, but I intend on bringing my wife back to experience the tramway and Peaks restaurant inside. Very cool views from the top!!"
"Wonderful experience to have dinner and a beer on top of the mountain! The prices were very fair and affordable, especially for being on top of a mountain. The chicken fingers, chili, and pizza were all wonderful with a cold beer and a great view. I would definitely recommend for a nice date night or to change up the day to day routine! I wish I had a little more time but the meal was very quick and I was able to enjoy the sites and meal within an hour!"
"The whole of the experience of riding the tram, taking in the amazing views, exploring the center, and enjoying a delicious lunch—it was crowded during holiday season, but still excellent! This is such a popular attraction—the traffic backup at the intersection down the road from the parking gate kept us inching along for more than half an hour. We almost gave up! I am glad we made reservations at the Peaks months prior to the holidays, and I had printed it out, or we would not have been able to even get tram tickets up."
