"They call her Dr O, and it stands for "outstanding." Dr. Odumakinde (O-do-mah-KIN-dee) is everything you want and need in an oncologist. I was referred to her during my hospital stay where a small mass was discovered in or near my pancreas. She has ordered a PET scan for a closer look. Dr. O was running late but her assistant, Amy, called to let me know so that I did not have to spend time in the waiting room. She greets you by name when she enters the room, and spends the time needed to explain your condition and answer your questions. By the questions she asks, she has reviewed your chart. (I have seen too many doctors reading my chart AFTER they walk in.) You don't feel rushed. She exudes confidence and knowledge. She asks all the cogent questions and then proceeds to recommend a plan of action. I was more than impressed. Amy and other staff are also very efficient."
