OC Dance Productions

"Our daughter has been in the preschooler age ballet classes with OC Dance Productions thru City of Irvine, for 2 years, at the Cypress Village location. The Butterfly Ballet classes have been really fun for her and a great learning experience. She's also done 3 recital performances with them, at the Santa Ana High School, for winter and spring, and my parents attended those and we all enjoyed seeing the performances and the costumes. The Butterfly Ballet classes are play based and I can see she and the other children really had fun and enjoyed those. She had different instructors for each season of the class, so she got to experience different styles of instruction. She made friends, and I also made friends with the other ballet parents. The pricing per class is very reasonable. The pricing for the optional recitals is a bit higher, but for us, it's been worth the extra cost, for us to see her on stage performing and showing how much she's learning, and her confidence. After the Butterfly Ballet classes, we've now enrolled her in the Primary Ballet, for the Kindergarten and early Elementary school age, and I can see the instruction style is less play based, and more focused on technique. So, I wish the playful style was still continuing, but I appreciate they're wanting to have it be more structured as they're older. Overall, we've loved OC Dance Productions for 2, going on 3 years!"

"Registered my daughter for the toddler class and it completely did not meet my expectation. First of all, they want you to buy the overpriced dresses & shoes from them. The instructor Miss Nathaly has no idea how to properly run a dance class. She is very cold and not friendly to the students. My daughter did not enjoyed the class. It was a waste of time."

"Dont sign up in the City of Irvine! They are NOT flexible with any missed class and would rather you go in sick than give you any credit towards the next session or a makeup class. My daughter had proof of a Cardiologist appointment that went long an still a NO from OC Dance Productions in IRVINE. What a JOKE! They are kids."
