"This is not a ballet class for absolute beginners, but if you are looking for one which welcomes teen and adult students of all ages and abilities, then try Kathy Mata's. And don't be afraid: while Kathy is serious about dance and technique, she is also caring, careful, compassionate...and often funny. You will get a well-paced advanced-beginner's ballet class (mostly Vaganova), with eagle-eye corrections (if you want them, and you should; even top professional dancers are always working to improve). Ballet is challenging, but it's fun --- and it's a great way to get exercise and toned!"
