"She talked about her own problems more than we did mine, I felt as if I was being used as her therapist. She also did not wear a mask during my visit."

"Hello everyone. Anyone seeking mental/emotional support, please avoid Emily Schafer. She is very unprofessional and does not care at all about your situation and can potentially make your emotional status even worse. I won’t go into too much detail about why I was seeking help but I will share my experience with her. Shortly after our session began her phone begins to ring (her phone was not silenced or turned off). She pauses our session to answer the phone, completely ignoring my wife and I. About half way through our session she grabs a clipboard and starts filling out the insurance form so that she can get her money. Her office is very unkept borderline disgusting; old food, empty coffee cups, papers everywhere, etc... Overall, the session felt like she did not care about what my wife and I were going through. She said very little words. Also, she took us late and we were done within 30 minutes!!"

"Very unprofessional first appointment she called when she should have been there and blamed me for no showing had me confused for another patient. She rescheduled for later that week at 515 I got there 10 min early and nobody was in office at 515 still wasn’t there so I left don’t waste your time."
