"We reached out to this office to request general therapy sessions for my son. After numerous rescheduled appointments, my son who lives in Woodland Hills with his dad, finally had his appointment today. While at the appointment, I received a call asking for my permission to allow my son to be seen for the session, as it is apparently required by law to have both parents signatures. I specifically told the therapist, Bahareh, that yes I could sign the document needed right away, even though I was in the middle of teaching a class. Bahareh told me that she could not find the office manager and would reschedule the appointment, because she had to have both parent’s signatures. Of course, my child has taken time from school and his dad took time off work to make the appointment. I asked Bahareh that if this is law and you MUST have both parent signatures, than WHY DIDN’T THE OFFICE MANAGER make us aware that we need both signatures BEFORE arriving at the appointment. I’m super disappointed that the therapist and office manager didn’t value my son’s time and effort to at least make sure they were prepared for the appointment beforehand. This is terrible service and completely unacceptable."
