"This gym has a foot set of equiptment and space, it’s clean, and traffic isn’t too heavy. Unfortunately, it is nearly always baking in there. I have seen many other complaints about the temperature. It’s the only issue I have w/ this location.. but it’s a big one."

"For a new gym, too many things are wrong. The sauna in the women's locker room hasn't been available for use in probably almost a year. No clarity on whether it will ever be in use again. Many of the tv's on the cardio equipment don't work and haven't been working for months. I am here 6 days a week (M-Sat) and use almost all the machines, which are usually dirty. At busy times there are ridiculous waits for certain popular machines. There is plenty of opportunity to replace all the extra unnecessary cardio equipment (ellipticals) with extra machines such as Adductor/Abductor, Leg Extension, Cable Row, etc. More wipe stations should be available as well. The cleaning staff could also be MUCH more diligent in keeping the gym tidier especially near machines. Overall, management is lacking in upkeep and standards of quality."

"Live super close to this gym, which is awesome but once inside through the doors there are multiple racks where the bars are missing and instead of management ordering fitness bars for the turf with a collective bar rack. They still allow multiple incline and flat bench’s to go empty. Order new equipment for those turf dwellers, the gym has been opened for almost two years this is ridiculous! Now let’s walk around I get simple wipes is easy but the canisters are never filled and there are only 4 through out the whole gym, if the managers would walk around with the employees maybe there would be some sort of order there, I’ve asked the cleaning lady to assist me she is very nice I give her two thumbs up. Last but not least the saunas…down since June for code but damn I know Cal fire is slow but what the membership price do we have to pay to get them fixed!!! CHUZE is starting to beat your team at better quality and voicing the customer."

"EXCEPTIONAL STAFF [L.A. Fitness Mission Valley]... I've been visiting this particular location since the first week they (re)opened and the managers (previous and present) and staff have always been very polite. Daniel (current manager) is professional, courteous, and quick to address reported issues. I recently left a short hand-written note for Daniel as I was leaving the gym to report that the water temperature in the women's showers had been noticeably cooler and asked that they adjust the water temperature. After returning to the gym a few days later, the shower was nice and hot; perfect for post-workout relaxation. Consider a few POSITIVE reasons to join/keep your membership: PROS: New equipment; modern design/aesthetic (no dirty carpet lining the floors or benches in the locker rooms... yuck!); plenty covered parking (2-level garage); food/shopping/retail in walking distance; diversity (age, race, culture, physical fitness/ability) amongst staff and members ; great selection of classes. Busiest times on weekdays: after 3PM Busiest times during weekends: 11AM - 2PM *Note: this all depends on holiday breaks, conferences, etc."

"Beautiful gym! Super clean. Very open and bright. Typical machines you’d find at any LA, in great condition. Easy parking in the garage, free and no time limit. Place looks like It’s very well kept and cleaned !"
