SD Westie

SD Westie is a vibrant institution located at 7243 Engineer Road in San Diego, California. This institution hosts the popular Westie Groove, a weekly dance event for all West Coast Swing dancers. Regardless of your skill level, age, or music preferences, you are sure to find a welcoming home at SD Westie.

The weekly event takes place on Wednesdays at Infinity Danceport Center, with an intermediate/advanced class from 7-8pm, a free beginner class from 7-8pm, and open dancing from 8pm to 11:30pm. The cost for the class and dance is $20, with individual class and dance prices also available. Beginners can enjoy the free beginner class to get started on their West Coast Swing journey.

SD Westie aims to create a strong sense of camaraderie within the WCS community in San Diego. Whether you are new to dancing or a seasoned veteran, there is a place for you at SD Westie. The institution welcomes dancers from all backgrounds and encourages a supportive and inclusive environment.

The intermediate/advanced class is taught by a rotating lineup of local instructors and guest instructors from out of town. SD Westie is always looking to expand its family and welcomes volunteers to help with various tasks such as set up, break down, and social media.
