"5 stars for care, 1 star for business practices My pet has received care from Palomar over the past 3 or so years, most recently 8 months ago. They always do a great job; I loved the doctors and the care received. It was great! However now I need his yearly vaccination booster. I call for a quote on the vaccine and was told it was $72. But, "because it's a diferent vaccine manufacturer" they have to re-examine the pet before they can administer it. Add another $160. Now we are up to $232 for a simple vaccination. Umm.. no thanks. This seems like a simple money grab for something he's already had, no matter who the manufacturer is."

They are always nice and friendly. They call to see how our pets are doing after visits and we thankfully have had great experiences with every doctor and nurse, even with my cat being very difficult around strangers. Compared to other local places we took our pets to before, this animal hospital will be our family's place to go."
