Reviews of Grand Park Animal Hospital
"I've taken my cat to Grand Park Animal Hospital several times before for different occasions but this past weekend was our first time meeting Dr. Allison Brennan!!! SHE IS AMAZING!!! Seriously she is so kind, patient, thorough and beyond knowledgeable, straight up and professional. She made our experience there our best one yet. The vet tech gentleman with tattoos was also a pleasure to deal with. THANK YOU!!!!!"
"Dr. Woods & most of the staff treated me with kindness & compassion. Dr. Woods fully explained my dog, Bebop's condition along a solution & estimate giving me peace of mind & heart. Thank you, Dr. Woods! By the way, they also accept Carecredit."
"Went in thinking our male cat is not eating because he ate something toxic or has a stomach blockage. Turned out he had a urinary infection and enormous bladder about ready to burst. Dr Yoo was phenomenal. Over the next three days, we took the cat in for expressing/flushing, monitoring blood and urine levels. Sent home with cranberry/copper/electrolytes supplements. Avoided surgery! Cat is doing great. The problem may come back as he is a male cat and prone to those kind of problems, but with proper management and care and dr Yoo’s instructions, this could be handled without surgery. We had to return to the clinic three days in a row, cost involved of course (NPI covered 90%!), but the cat got care, attention, we got explanations of every step, shown Xrays, shown bowls filled with urine…go see and talk to Prof dr Yoo!"
"FIND ANOTHER VET CLINIC. Given the multiple complaints about the front desk manager, Sharon, and overpriced course of treatment, I would not recommend Grand Park. Grand Park’s front desk manager, Sharon, is curt with customers and treats them from a defensive disposition. I saw her speak in such a rude and condescending manner to a prospective client who wished to have his dog seen. Per this prospective client, he waited for hours and was told by Sharon to come back after 2pm. She rudely objected to what he understood and snarkily told him the clinic wouldn’t be able to tend to his dog. No sincere apologies for miscommunication were granted to this client. This is because Sharon believes she can do no wrong and does not know how to remove her ego and pride when dealing with customers. It is shocking that she is the manager and therefore representative of the clinic. A true competent manager would navigate the situation with more tact and apologize for the misunderstanding. EVEN WHEN A MANAGER KNOWS THEY ARE RIGHT. On another occasion, I was asked to reschedule an appointment to give another pet an emergency surgery. I was happy to oblige as I would want someone else to do the same for my pet. When I was later contacted to confirm my new appointment, I was told my doctor would not be on staff for the newly rescheduled appointment. I mentioned that I had not been informed of a switch of vets. Sharon quickly and defensively said that she would have told me that upon setting the appointment. No, Sharon, that was not the case. This rash judgment against your clients is so off-putting. Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication she abruptly asked if I wanted to keep the appointment. The problem with switching vets is that the new vet ordered $1000s of new and additional tests. We also looked into their dental treatment. We received outrageously priced dental estimates to know they are ripping off their clients. This inconsistency with vets in every new appointment will cost you. STAY AWAY."
"They have been my vet since my very sweet but very dumb German Shepard puppy ate grapes and they made time to pump her stomach right away after two other vets said they couldn’t find time to help. The vet techs are so sweet and really kind to the animals. The pricing is decent which is great for an LA vet. They are thorough and informative when they share what is going on with your pet."
