"Casa Palmira is such a magical place... The connections and healing that takes place within their walls is truly a gift to anyone who wants to lay down the substances, thoughts, behaviors and actions that has brought them down for so long. I was desperate and hopeless when I arrived there. I was accepted and loved on by the amazing staff at a critical time in my life. Not only were my addiction and anxiety issues addressed my health was monitored and medications adjusted as I was detoxing and beginning recovery. My blood pressure was alarming when I went in the doors and perfect when I left. I had an incredible room with a view of the Koi pond. The food was also amazing and I still miss it along with the staff. The activities were a part of my healing also. We went for hikes, to the beach and rope swings throughout each week. It was nice to sit on the beach in the sun for a couple hours with new friends and be grateful I was alive and well. The connections I made with the other patients is vital to my continued sobriety. I have friends for life who understand what I'm going through as I do for them. We now do sober BBQ's together and go to the Friday night Alumni meetings. We laughed a lot in Casa... I had not laughed and smiled very much in the year before I sought help. I smile all the time now and I'm so grateful for the people who work at Casa for all they did for me while I was there."

My intake nurse made sure to make me feel taken care of and safe. My therapist, Kat, was the greatest therapist I've worked with to date and I was so sad to leave her care. The food and the kitchen staff are amazing. Group sessions were lead with professionalism and were informative. I am 343 days clean and I started my sobriety journey with Casa. I seriously cannot recommend Casa Palmera enough. No treatment center is perfect, but Casa came close. The one star reviews are insane.
