"We saw Dr Wendt for several years and I was really disappointed in her counseling of my teen. She even said at one point that if my teen didn’t open up she would not be able to help her, but then kept us on as a patient for months. When we had some issues at school she had us sign a document saying she would not testify and would charge for a review document. I offered to pay it but she refused to even write how long my child had been seeing her and what she thought her condition was. We now have a new therapist that helped more in one month then Dr Wendt did in years. She also wrote up documents supporting my daughter. Dr. Wendt also didn’t refer us to a psychiatrist which is what my teen really needed. My daughter isn’t a bad child she has a mood disorder, once treated she is a lovely young lady who is struggling with personal issues of abandonment. If you want a psychologist to support your child, especially if they get into trouble at school Dr Wendt has you sign a document saying something to the effect that she doesn’t do that. A troubled teen needs a supportive therapist that’s on their side. Dr Wendt just wasn’t that therapist for us. Luckily we found someone who is and the difference is amazing!"
