"I am compelled to share a deeply troubling experience with Dr. Bogatsky, which has not only impacted my peace of mind but has had serious repercussions for my beloved cat's health and well-being. Due to Dr. Bogatsky's inadequate record-keeping and lack of attention to detail, critical information about my cat's medical history was not properly documented. This oversight had severe financial and health-related consequences for us. When it came time to submit a claim to my pet insurance, the lack of comprehensive notes led the insurance company to classify my cat's condition as pre-existing. As a result, they denied the claim, leaving me unable to afford necessary medical procedures, including a crucial ultrasonography that my cat needed. This situation has placed my cat's health in jeopardy. Without the ultrasonography, we were unable to get a clear understanding of my cat's condition, potentially missing out on essential treatments that could prevent further complications. It's heartbreaking to know that this could have been avoided if the medical records had been properly documented. It's distressing to witness such a lapse in responsibility from a veterinary professional. The implications of this negligence extend beyond just financial strain; they affect the quality of life and health of cherished pets. The fact that my insurance will no longer cover expenses for symptoms related to this so-called pre-existing condition exacerbates the situation, all stemming from the clinic's failure to document accurately. I share this experience as a cautionary tale for other pet owners seeking veterinary care. The consequences of inadequate professional practice are far-reaching, affecting not just the immediate health of our pets but also their future well-being and our financial stability. It's crucial to choose a veterinary provider who not only understands the medical needs of our pets but also upholds the highest standards of record-keeping and communication."
"Karen was super kind with Charlie when he was nervous about getting a tooth pulled. She was also kind to me, a new dog parent, who was worried about his pup. Thank you so much!"
"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! This is the worst vet you can ever take your beloved pet to. They are happy to take your money when your pet is healthy, but beware if you actually need their services when your pet is sick. They gave me an appointment 3 weeks out when I told them that the ER gave my cat weeks to live and recommended I get in touch with my primary vet immediately, for palliative care. I called and called and explained my situation and they had the same standard response, that they're booked 3 weeks out and they put me on the cancellation list, but never actually called back. Any clinic worth its salt is keeping slots open for emergencies, but don't expect that at The Animal Doctor. They are a soulless, money-grubbing business that only cares about their bottom line above everything else, including the life of pets. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! UPDATE: they are also liars. Watch them lie through their teeth in their reply to my review. I never got a call from them, as my call history proves; if I really got a call and could not answer any normal person would leave a voicemail. But no voicemail, no call, nothing. I also did not ‘call them names’ when I talked to them, I just told them that I want nothing to do anymore with a terrible vet like this one. The only thing this terrible clinic does well is lie in their responses to reviews, in a desperate attempt at doing damage control, after folks are rightfully upset at their terrible service. As I said above, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!"
"We love the animal doctors. One of our pets had chronic paw licking and The Animal Doctors quickly diagnosed that she had allergies and prescribed medication to help. Within a month or two, our beloved pups paws returned back to white from red. We felt so terrible that our poor pup had to suffer, but also happy she no longer is plagued by the issue! Additionally, appointments are easy to schedule and prices seem reasonable. The estimates are always spot on or even over estimated, so there are never surprises. Everyone is super nice and it's clear they care for every pet."
"We’ve been through a lot of vets for our senior pup between many moves over the last few years, but Dr B is the best. He’s extremely knowledgeable and evidence based; he’s honest when he isn’t sure about something and seeks specialist opinions. He is balanced in his assessments and always offers multiple options. He has his own pups and is extremely caring and always follows up. The front staff is also lovely. Very welcoming and accommodating and caring. We feel very lucky to have found Animal Doctors!"
