"I do not recommend Sue to ANYONE. When I was 13 or 14, she took advantage of my struggles with self-advocacy, taking me on errands with her. She would have me go to the dry cleaners with her during sessions, take her dog on walks, and drive me to places like Starbucks when she wanted coffee. She was extremely unprofessional and not courteous in the slightest. It is obvious looking back that she had no interest in my well-being and simply wanted to do what would check off the most boxes on her To-Do list during our sessions. Regardless of these unprofessional and unethical actions, she was consistently 20-30+ minutes late, once explaining that she was late because she was busy getting her nails done. I am shocked that she has a doctorate degree in psychology. I repeat, do NOT trust Sue with your or your child's therapy needs."

"I called Dr. Tonkins and left a message. Her voicemail said to email to get a quicker response so I emailed her on October 13, 2017. I also completed the contact information on the website asking for someone to contact me. Tuesday, October 17, 2017...sent another email asking for someone to contact me to schedule an appointment or at least let me know they weren’t accepting new patients. It is now Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 and I have not even had a courtesy call or email. Seriously I guess she isn’t interested in actually helping someone."
