"Melissa's help truly shifted my life for the better. She helped me walk through grief, guidance that still helps me today when grief comes. We then worked on other areas of my life, and my joy, peace, and love have increased beyond measure. An assett to anyone willing to open up!"
"I am writing this letter as a testament to Melissa Fisher Goldman and the level of service that she provides to her patients. There are no words to properly express my appreciation, but I would like to try and express the immense gratitude that I have for Melissa and the significant difference that she has made in my life. Melissa is far more than the average Therapist...far more! Melissa is in a class of her own! With a genuine heart and a deep level of commitment to her patients, Melissa has the ability to draw the best from her patients through her unique perspective, professionalism, kindness, compassion, and competency. On October 1st 2017, in Las Vegas, NV, my husband, our 3 young children and I survived the terror of having more than 1,100 bullets rain down on us in the middle of the worst mass shooting in modern American history. Right before the 1-year anniversary of my trauma, I was blessed with the opportunity to hear Melissa speak about the multiple effects of trauma. Just a few minutes into her presentation, it was clear to me that she could help me move past the trauma and get back to living a productive and fulfilling life. Feeling safe is something many trauma survivors struggle with. However, in my very first session with Melissa, I was amazed that I felt very safe throughout the entire session. I felt safe with her professional guidelines, I felt safe to allow my feelings and emotions be released, I felt safe to connect with painful memories, I felt safe telling her my story and she sat with me as I outlined the traumatic events that I had never managed to speak aloud. She listened when I could barely speak because panic was taking my breath away. She has listened when I've been sad, angry, and confused. Whether you are a survivor of trauma, grieving the loss of a loved one or dealing with a life transition, Melissa provides a safe, compassionate space to explore, learn, cry, laugh, ramble and grow. Melissa, I hope you realize how special and what an incredible therapist you are. The world is a better place because of people like you. You have made a profound difference in my life and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking good care of me. Sincerely, Jenni N."
"I am not quite sure why there is such a stigma towards therapists. Needing help shouldn't be viewed as a weakness. I was fortunate to meet Melissa when I was going through a tough time and she was a Godsend. She listened, allowed me to vent, she asked questions, & we had conversations, without once pushing me past a point where I wasn't ready to go. She didn't push me to continue to see her when I reached a point of being content and confident. Today, I feel I am at a better place thanks to having her in my life. I feel I am a stronger, more confident, more productive person thanks to having worked with Melissa. If you are going through a hard time in your life, don't suffer in silence or allow the issue to snowball until you are catatonic with fear-- consider seeking assistance. Working with Melissa was a game changer. She offers guidance, a safe place to decompress, and solutions. Thank you Melissa."
"Melissa is an amazingly caring and supportive therapist, and she is extremely down to earth and relatable. I refer clients to her on a regular basis for grief work and I would recommend her to my closest friends--she's that good. She creates a warm and inviting therapy space so that all her clients can feel at ease talking about the hardest topics. I strongly encourage you to give her a call."
