"I had several sessions with Dr. Avedian from 2018 to 2019. From the beginning, it was clear her priorities were not to really help me. All of my issues I tried to discuss with her were quickly glossed over and dismissed. I often felt like she did not even listen to what I said, as I found myself repeating myself often in different sessions just to remind her. She has also treated some issues dealing with racism I faced with blatant disinterest. My final session with her, I had recently faced some extreme emotional and physical trauma. Throughout the entire session, all she did was stare blankly at me while I was clearly in a lot of distress. All she said to me was "what do you want me to do about it". As a medical professional, I would expect much more than that. She saw me openly sobbing, and did not even blink an eye or show any sympathy whatsoever. She is a lazy, unprofessional individual without any real care for her patients. Avoid her practice at all costs."
