"Simply saying Throttle and Thrive saved my life would be and understatement, because it’s done much more than that for me . It’s given me purpose and hope again in my life. I have fortunately/unfortunately been to other facilities in my recovery journey (both first responder specific and not) and nothing compares to the care and individualised treatment I received here. The facility and location are incredibly beautiful and pictures do it no justice. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, and go out of their way in order to provide the most supportive environment for each clients’ needs. Programming focuses not just on mental and physical issues but addresses every aspect necessary to combat these including nutrition, sleep hygiene, physical fitness and everything in between. I couldn’t recommend Throttle and Thrive enough, and am so thankful for what i’ve gained from my time there."

"Did a 30 day program with Throttle and Thrive and have nothing but amazing things to say. The staff was absolutely amazing and felt like I was at home the minute I stepped in the door. The house was amazing and the pictures of the view don’t do it justice! From the on site gym, to the group sessions, to the delicious food (never had the same thing twice), it’s an incredible place to go through treatment. I had completed another first responder program prior to entering Throttle and Thrive, and truly wish I would have found this program first. Shavonne saved my life as well as my relationship with my two sons and can’t thank this program enough!! Highly recommend"

First responders and military service members enable us to live a life full of freedom and safety; but sometimes they need support and a place to heal from the wounds of their job. "Fresh out after 30 days with a whole new outlook on life. I was in very bad shape going in and I decided it was time for a change. With little to no coping skills, I drank myself into the emergency room. Being at Throttle and Thrive, I had everything accessible to make a huge mental and physical shift to better myself. They have everything there. From the daily amazing, healthy, and plentiful food made from scratch… to the therapy, life skills and fitness essentials needed to change my trajectory. I am thankful for every staff member who individually made a lasting impact in my recovery. I felt very welcomed and prioritized at all times. "I spent 30 days here. The staff are the highlight of my experience. I have never felt so accepted and understood. They are truly exceptional and high character. I was in a very bad place when I checked myself in here. I didn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I was unable to handle my post traumatic stress and could not get sober on my own. I had tried just about everything. They have helped immensely with that and given me the tools to continue on my own. Going to AA and learning about the 12 steps was life changing for me. I truly have no doubt that this place gave me a second chance at being a husband and father. If you're a first responder or a veteran with trust issues, PTSD, alcohol or substance abuse problems, this is the place to go."
