"Very caring therapist"

"This review is for a clinician associated with Psychological Behavioral Health. Cristina Morelli. She conducts therapy sessions in a dog park because she doesn’t have an office. How is this even an appropriate place for therapy? It’s full of distractions and interruptions. As a therapist, one is supposed to do what’s in the best interest of the client. Clearly, she conducts therapy in a dog park because it’s cheaper than renting her own office space. Is this in the best interest of her clients or in her best interest? This shows a complete lack of respect for true therapy and her inability to do good therapy. I have zero respect for this woman. Re the response from the owner of this business. I do hope that someone talks to this therapist and discusses with her the inappropriateness of meeting clients for therapy in a dog park. This has been an ongoing issue and not a one time thing."

"Worst experience ever. I have tried to make an appointment for several weeks and I was denied time after time. NO ONE answers their phone (I don't know why they even have a number). They say to go to their website which is completely useless. You can't email them, the website doesn't work properly, you can't have more than one person receiving treatment at a time. I have never been so frustrated in my life. MENTAL HEALTH is crucial and this company doesn't value it at all. I have lodged a complaint with the state. Hopefully, something will change."

"I've thought about writing this review for some time now. Mostly because I didn't want it to write it from a place of fulfilling a desire for emotional retribution. However, when ethical and legal responsibilities are not observed, they should be reported. That said, I had entered into a professional relationship with Jacky Parodi, LCSW for therapy a few months back. I had completed all the intake paperwork, spoken with her on the phone twice and set an appointment time. my appointment was listed in her calendar and I received a text/email reminder for it. A few hours before the appointment time I sent an email asking her for the Zoom login to connect with her - no response came. I called her 15 minutes before the appointment time, again no response came. I tried a second time 5 minutes before the appointment time and received no response. When it was time for our appointment, I logged into the PBH, Inc. website to see if there was information there, but to my astonishment, the appointment had been deleted. Over the last few moths, I've thought about why this may have happened. While I don't have a clear answer, I believe that it's because I am in the LGBTQ+ community. There was no legitimate reason for abandoning me at the start of therapy, but being LGBTQ+ often leads to discrimination without explanation. Jacky Parodi should probably be reported to the BBS, but I'm hoping that this review does enough to warn anyone who isn't straight, white, and cisgender to look elsewhere for empathetic support."
