Tao of the Tiger Martial Arts

Tao of the Tiger Martial Arts is a health institution located at 9220 Carla Way, Sacramento, California, United States. Since July 2005, we have been teaching karate and self defense to kids and adults of all ages. Our black belt instructors have over 30 years of experience in the martial arts and self defense. Our mission is to keep the community safe by implementing anti-bully and karate programs.

At our dojo, all martial arts journeys begin. We prioritize character development, self defense skills, and fitness for all, focusing on strength, endurance, and flexibility. Our professionalism extends beyond our training hall and into the community through seminars and clinics focused on safety and awareness.

We offer a super cool semi-private black belt program where you can learn how to disarm and teach gunmen to respect you. Mention that you saw us on this website and receive your first 3 classes free. In response to the challenges of CoVid-19, we also offer virtual classes for those unable to attend in person.

Our founder started his martial arts journey in 1980 due to bullies and has since trained in various disciplines, receiving his first black belt in Kenpo in 1998.
