Reviews of RockBox Fitness Roseville
"CANCER TO ROSEVILLE COMMUNITY!Do not add your credit card to account!!! I have horrible experience with Rockbox, I decided to cancel membership and came in person, there no option to do it online. By policy you still have to pay for 1 month after cancellation. I was ok with that. But by the end of that time they KEPT charging me. So, I called and texted the owner he promised to look, but never called me back. And I messaged - he kept ignoring and didn’t not reply. The bank can’t cancel reccuring transaction and I was charging for couple of months. I came couple times to them, but it was no front desk. The guy at the end said he can’t give me refund, but I can come to the box. But after all horrible experience I can’t see that place. Added my ignored messages screenshot. Do not recommend! I never seen this horrible and unprofessional service"
"My experience with RockBox Fitness Roseville has been disappointing, to say the least. From the start, there were issues with how they handled my membership. Not only did they incorrectly charge me fees, but they also mishandled my account multiple times. The level of unprofessionalism I encountered was staggering. It seemed like there was a lack of communication and organization within the company, leading to repeated errors on their part. It's frustrating when you're trying to enjoy the benefits of a membership, only to be met with incompetence. I attempted to address these issues with the staff, but unfortunately, there was little to no effort made to rectify the situation. It's disheartening when a business fails to take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right for their customers. Overall, I cannot recommend RockBox Fitness Roseville based on my experience. If you value professionalism and accurate billing, I suggest looking elsewhere for your needs."
"HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I emailed my membership cancellation letter on Nov 30, hand delivered the same copy on Dec 5 to RockBox Roseville but they continued to charge the membership to my bank account for the next 2 months. Jared’s excuse for not cancelling my membership is that he had personal and family matters to attend to. But he was not doing anything when I got to the gym. That is not how you run a business. He could have at least acknowledged any my emails. How unprofessional! No wonder he cannot keep trainers nor members from quitting. No one even showed up for the 9 am class today! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!"
"Amazing place for great workouts, community support, and best of all a personalized feel. The coaches are fantastic, each class is a unique experience with combinations of bag work and circuit training. They make you feel at home with encouragement, tips, and positive vibes during workouts. I can't say enough about the owner who truly knows how to take care of clients and make them feel welcome. Very fun location, awesome results, and makes for a great part of your day."
"Let me start by saying that Rock Box Fitness was a place I wanted to get my workout fix in. It had two, actually three of the elements I look for when working out. It has the boxing aspect, the circuit training and the group fitness dynamic all tied into one. I have no problem with the coaches, I’ve had a class with each one and I have no complaints. If you want to be pushed and challenged, take either Coach Hanns or Coach Jessica. If you are a first timer and want more structure on how to go about movements take Coach Bianca or Coach Nichole. They have their different styles, and I was appreciative of what they bring to the members who go on a day-to-day basis. If I wasn’t a first-time mom trying to figure out life with a kid, no doubt I would be at that place every day maybe twice if I had the time, but I don’t anymore. But other than that, you’ll get the fitness you are seeking. The downside to why I’m creating a review of this manner, is not to talk bad about this establishment but to critique the experience that I had as a founding member and hopefully things will turn around for the better as this gym grows and gains more members. I was intrigued by an ad I saw on social media that Rockbox was opening in Roseville and wanted to check it out because it tied in like I mentioned before the boxing and circuit training into one, it also advertised added on to founding members nutrition and personal training to new founding members. When I finally caved in to gaining more information I met up with the owner at the spot where Rockbox was supposed to be, and to my surprise it had yet to be built. I was excited that I would be able to join a new gym and start off fresh and get to know the people who are building this place up. I was told by the owner that because the founding membership was priced the way it was, I would be getting nutritional coaching, a personal training session and held accountable for missing classes if I wasn’t showing up (meaning they would call me if they haven’t seen me check in), all I had to do was set a 3-month commitment. I was iffy about it at first because the price as a founding member was already discounted and it was still more expensive than the other gyms (Results Transformation Center/Title Boxing) I had previously been apart of. But because it was only a 3-month commitment I went in and became a founding member because of what I was told went into the price I’m paying for. This was back in November, I was told the gym would be done by mid-December. I started getting charged the last week of January. The gym did not open until February, and I had started my commitment of 3 months. I decided to quit after 3 months because although I was getting the workout, I was not getting the other offers made when I did my initial sign up and it did not justify the price I was paying. I had written my 30-day notice and submitted it in person to be given to the owner. I was not followed up regarding my cancellation and ended up getting charged an additional month. When contacting the gym, I was directed to the owner who had questioned me regarding cancelling and what gym I am currently attending now. When I told him I’m cancelling because of the 3 month commitment and that I wasn’t getting what I was told I would get initially, this person then began to say that it was mostly corporate and that he says those things (the nutrition and accountability) when it really is just a paper food guide and system generated emails for the accountability. Well then, I asked about the month I was charged if I could have that refunded, he simply sent a screen-shot showing that the following month was $0 balance but the current month was still charged. When I tried to follow-up with him both direct email and text message, I have not heard from him since and felt that being ignored was not the way to go for this business. Until now I haven’t heard from the business. It’s an almost $200 loss, and I’m sorry to say I don’t see myself joining later in the future."
