"How can I get someone on the phone to make an find out about their classes or make an appointment? I’ve called over 8 times with no answer. Are they closed?"
"My son has been training at C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. I have only great things to say about my personal experience here at C-Quence. John Muñoz and his family are very professional and knowledgeable in training students from all ages. John has coached and trained champions from different arenas in the MMA world. Including World Jiu-Jitsu champions, King Of The Cage champions and currently working with UFC fighters. If you’re looking for a solid place to train and learn from the best in the Inland Empire, this is the right place. I highly recommend C-Quence Jiu-Jitsu. There’s no BS here only hard work."
"Best jiu-jitsu, MMA, grappling and striking instruction in the Inland Empire at the best prices! John and his wife understand that everyone who comes through the doors come for different reasons; whether it's just to do a new activity to get in or stay in shape, learn self defense, compete in grappling tournaments or fight someday. The Munoz family value all of their clientele and everyone is extremely friendly. He has coached and assisted multiple World Jiu-Jitsu champions, King Of The Cage (MMA) champions and worked with a variety of past and current UFC & Bellator fighters who had great success when working with C-Quence. There are currently 7 legit black belts (not another 7 black belts under he has promoted) who teach at the Norco location, with others who will soon follow. John has a plethora of experience in jiu-jitsu, boxing, judo, and other martial arts. If you're interested in trying out classes, but aren't sure if it's right for you, John will give you multiple days to try it out. Contact the school or come by for specific class times."
"Great group of guys , real tough , and real technical. I was in town looking for a place to train and hit them up. These guys welcomed me like i was one of their own. So if you are in Ontario and are looking for a real serious place to train hit these guys up."
"I've been a member of Cquence Jiu Jitsu (sometimes referred to by CQ BJJ) for a few years now. Recently a friend who was a member of an out of town JJ school gave me a call and was thinking about switching to C-quence ( for some reason NOT spelled Sequence! ). Telling him what's cool about CQ-BJJ gave me the idea for writing this review. I personally don't live in Norco. I live in Riverside. Members of the club come from all over, Corona, Eastvale, Chino, Ontario Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana and even further, drive to the Norco club. The drive is way worth the work out. The MOST IMPORTANT thing about choosing a Brazilian Ju Jitsu club, is that you like being there. A lot of times, the mood of the club is set by the "personalities" of the people training there. That dictates how you get along with everybody. Bottom line if it's "fun" to be there! C-quence Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has a wide range of people, from the fun loud mouths to the quite types. Everybody fits it ! I would consider the mood of the workouts to be serious but at the same time jovial. Second thing is that the club you're considering is a "competitor's" club. The main side effect of a competition BJJ club is the attitude. Some might think it's strange, but competitors seem to always have the best attitudes. Since there's nothing to prove, they seem to always have great dispositions ! Also, don't think that you have to be at a hard core "competitor" at a competition club. That simply means that the competition aspect is there if you choose to compete. Last thing that's VERY important is the club's belt ranks. I'm not talking about the rank of the main instructors, but the level and amount of ranks of the people working out in various classes. In a typical advance C Quence workout, it's common to have 4 BJJ Black Belts, 6 Brown Belts, 8 Purple Belts and a bunch of high stripe Blue Belts. There are tons of higher ranking guys that are always happy to help out your game! Watch out for clubs that are owned by a Black Belt, yet classes are run by a Blue Belt and are attended by three or four White Bels. Bottom line, CQ-BJJ It's a GREAT competition BJJ, Competition No-Gi JJ and multiple MMA Belt Title holders. Single monthly charge gets you UNLIMITED access to all programs. And, CQBJJ is the LOWEST PRICE (and no contracts) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club in the area, BY FAR!!!!"
