"Terrible experience. Good thing we just paid trial fee which is $30. The ratio of players to coach is very high. About 40 trainees, to 5 coach but only 1 coach is working. Paid attention till last minute of trial session. Noticed a few things: kids who don’t know what to do barely get corrected. Kids dont get called out for traveling, double dribble. How can they learn though? Scrimmage only started 7 min prior end of session. I mentioned too many students, bec of that, they are doing scrimmage using only half a court. With that said, we’re not coming back."
"I recently established a membership with Frohlich Sports Academy; Basketball Skills- 1x week, for my son. I booked a class on their website for this evening, December 29, 2023, 6 pm-7 pm. This would have been my son's first session with FRO. Only to find out that their gym is closed when we arrived at the Rancho Cucamonga location. My son's excitement turned into disappointment. I would feel differently about FRO, if only I received a courtesy notification that the class was canceled. We could have been long time members. Sadly, this membership has to end prematurely."
"Awful. One specific Coach, don’t even know his name, completely neglected my little brother. We drove a long way to Vegas, got here at 4 am last night, had troubles with our hotel room, and a ton of other complications that led us to this Jam On It tournament just for that Coach to put my brother in only TWICE for the first game where he played for about only less than a minute total of the entire game within those two times he was put in. Then, for the second game, he wasn’t even put in AT ALL. My little brother can’t even do what he loves after we came all the way here and paid about a total of $60 for our tickets. After his last game he started tearing up. How can he ever get a chance to grow when he has a Coach who doesn’t even show an ounce of support for him to be better?! Because of this Coach, my brother feels like the weakest link which has ruined his confidence. In every other team he has been on, he has been noticed and his coaches ACTUALLY believed in him.. can’t say the same for this team."
"This place is dirty unsupervised awful and to be honest they have terrible management they wouldn’t let me make up a class for my two sons. There was medical reasons for why they missed one week and following week was Memorial Day so it was closed I asked if they could make up one class and they insisted no no our policy is no. Why? Because it doesn’t fall within the month I am paying for next month too what the heck is the difference. I feel like the girl who I spoke to is just there to sit and get paid and does nothing. I had to stop altercation between two boys who were trying to beat up one boy against the wall. I quickly brought this to their attention and when I tried to explain after what happened she ignored me standing there and kept walking. Just know what your signing up for a lot of kids are there with no parents unsupervised and going wild in the gym. Coaches are good atmosphere and customer service and policies are trash."
"Fro is an amazing academy for kid development in basketball.. They have great coaches and even better upper management leadership.. If you get a chance to stop by the front office and speak to Miss Judy, you will be in for a treat! She is an amazing woman and extremely knowledgeable! Their program has provided a safe space and environment for kids of all ages for quite some time now. Fro Sports academy is a true blessing to the inland Empire!"
