"Anaheim High school Athletic track is the only place to run where one can be at peace and focus on your workout. I've been coming here since the 90's. I use to run 6 miles around the track non stop. Now I can barely run 3 miles without stopping to walk. But I push myself and press on..This field is the only place where I use to walk on the grass near the baseball field and relax, gather my thoughts and reflect on my life..And I'm not ashamed to say Ive even shed tears and prayed alot. I told my daughter when I leave this flesh to scatter my ashes on this very field. I'm glad Anaheim has been very consistent on letting the public enjoy this field."
"I like the fact that they leave one of the back gates open so that residents who live in the area can use the athletic field and basketball courts. I've been going there about once a week to hobble around the track and prove to myself that I can still run somewhat."
