"To all my co Filipino and friends! I took great pride in creating the lead and follow milonga, as well as the milonga lead and follow, and even went the extra mile to trademark the business name during my tenure at the studio. However, I was regrettably replaced by a teacher I had hired, despite the immense effort and dedication I had invested in building the community. Throughout an entire year, I relentlessly worked to establish a flourishing milonga community, undertaking numerous trips between San Francisco and West Covina. It is disheartening to see my contributions taken for granted by the studio owner, who seemed to overlook the significant amount of time and energy I had devoted. Despite this setback, I am grateful for the experience and the connections I made during my time at the studio. My hope is that future dancers and instructors who join the studio will be valued and appreciated for their contributions. I haven’t stopped going to this studio! Denis, studio owner is very accommodating in person or phone. He makes it a point to get in touch with you right away if you have any concerns. Roman and Anna are great teachers. They are serious in teaching you the basic skills which I believe is fundamental in dancing. My goal is to be a competitive dancer and this is where I can fulfill this goal. The party socials on Friday nights are also a wonderful way to unwind after a week of working. Nixon does a great job of putting a lot of fun in his party socials!"
