"While searching for Jiu Jitsu Gyms throughout the Southbay, I noticed many seemed more interested in profiting off its customers rather than teaching the Art out of love to the future generations. While searching and constantly getting a sales pitch to join a Gym I decided to call Marcelo. Marcelo responded quickly and told me come on by the same day or next to have a weeks worth of free classes and if I was satisfied we can move on from there. While this is for my son (4 years old), Marcelo was patient in teaching him, showing him the ropes and giving him the necessary information for him to learn correctly. After a week my son loved it, I myself found it impressive how Marcelo managed to teach a 4 year old BJJ and so I paid for 3 months of classes for my son. It doesn’t stop there, after his 3 months were up, we extended it once again and I decided to join myself and learn the Art of BJJ. If you have any questions stop by the academy and chat with Marcelo he is very welcoming, he is wealth of knowledge in regards to Jiu Jitsu and you can definitely tell he loves his students and the Art."
