"SO happy I found these guys! Super friendly, experienced smiths, and a true family operation. One of my 22 pistols had been finicky from the get go, but as time wore on was progressively getting worse and worse on me, experiencing failures to feed and jams galore with ANY brand/velocity of ammo. Very happy to say that after a top notch polishing job and a few small tweaks, done by Trent, I was able to confirm she ate absolutely EVERYTHING on hand. Six different velocities and brands. Even lower velocity sub-sonic rounds! Trent took the time to check all my mags and tested every type of ammo I had on hand. All performed flawlessly. Expert work and amazing customer service, with a tight turnaround. These guys are going to be my gunsmiths from now on. "I'll start by saying I have dealt with no less than 15 gunsmiths in my time. I have a 338 ultramag remington that I needed a brake installed on so I call Trent who I immediately felt comfortable with based on out phone conversation. I supplied him the brake and from the time I dropped it off he turned it around in 48hrs. The price he charged was very reasonable, I even gave him a tip as I was surprised what he charged. I had a bunch of questions with respect to thread pitch and other issues. He immediately got back to me and never even sounded frustrated that he had to field so many calls/emails over such a small job. I picked it up today and the job looks factory, very clean work. Additionally he seems to have a the latest and greatest tooling and he didn't even have to remove my barrel (most smiths remove the barrel for a brake). I was so happy that now I'm gonna have him put a tactical bolt knob on and bed a new stock for me. Another thing worth mentioning is most smiths are unenthusiastic and somewhat socially challenged-he is the opposite of this. He's very easy going and acted like a friend throughout the job. He gets 5 stars from me and I will never use anyone else for all my smithing needs. Additionally, he is the smith for the local SWAT team which speaks volumes as these guys trust their lives in his work. He also has access to a fairly close gun range to test anything that deserves a few rounds to confirm its shooting/cycling perfectly."

"A while back I stopped by and asked about a barrel replacement on a Savage model 10, he took my info and said he'll get back to me, never did. Hoping my luck would change I stopped by with my 1911 to get some trigger work done and I was told to bring it in next week when his guy was in who could do the job. Week later, I tried calling in advance because I know they have bankers hours over there and no one would answer the phone, called 3 times. I was in the area and just drove by and they were there. Once again his guy wasn't there, said he'll be there next week, so he took all my info and told me he would call me. It's now a month later and once again he didn't do that. So obviously my rating is not about workmanship, just the experience I had trying to get some work done. Would have much rather heard they're too busy or won't do the work than given the run around."
