Family Works is a compassionate and effective health institution located at 365 Bel Marin Keys Boulevard in Novato, California. Our mission is to provide affordable services that build essential parenting and life skills for individuals with cognitive disabilities. We offer independent living skills training for adults and parent support services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Our impact reaches across 10 counties in the Bay Area, including Sonoma, Napa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties. We collaborate with Regional Centers, The Arc, Abilities United, local health and human services departments, and Social Vocational Services to ensure the success of our programs.

At Family Works, we strive to help families overcome life challenges by empowering individuals with cognitive disabilities to achieve their fullest potential and live independent, fulfilling lives. Our goals include expanding services in Contra Costa County, developing an optimal staffing model through training and professional development, and creating promotional opportunities within the agency.
