""I had been dealing with chronic neck/ shoulder pain, and inflammation from being a automotive technician for 15 plus years ..The pain and inflammation recently had moved into into my right peck muscle ..very uncomfortable and made everyday activities really miserable... I thought it was just going to be that way for the rest of my life as I had just gotten used to living with the pain... My Dr. recommended Physical Therapy and I found Ashley Nardi by chance .. The office staff was very knowledgeable and efficient on dealing with insurance ,so it made it really easy for me .. They got me in within a week of my first call. The location is great! The atmosphere is inviting, warm, and very comfortable. Dr. Nardi determined I had a pinched C7 in my neck ,and was confident she could help me..(no x-ray no scan) Ashley was very hands on , worked on my neck, right shoulder/rotator cuff, and chest...also a lot of work on my horrible posture . Ashley found exercises that worked for me ,and that I liked to do.. helping to strengthen my shoulder and back..and lots of stretching .Also a custom program to do at home as I usually don't care for "homework" ,but I was seeing such positive results , and feeling so much better! I continued PT for about 5 months with Ashley.. I no longer have any pain or inflammation in my chest ,my neck is 85% better and my shoulder/rotator cuff is not getting stuck/frozen like it used to .. I am extremely happy to be doing my day to day activities and not be in such terrible pain!"
"Ashley is amazing. She has helped me so much with pelvic dysfuntion and instability. I had a large diastasis rectis after pregnancy and her cutting edge exercises helped close it fairly quickly. I love that her exercises and postural adjustments are really manageable and doable in a home exercise program."
"I was very fortunate to be able to work with Ashley. She's a great listener, and will take the time to create the best possible way of approaching whatever issue you may be dealing with. We're lucky to have such a resource in our community - I highly recommend her."
"I have known and seen a lot of physical therapists in my life - and they are all very nice and wonderful people. For the most part, a physical therapist meets you, interviews you, watches the way you move, reads the doctors notes, measures the way your body does certain things, sometimes does some ultrasound, some other electronic things, some physical manipulation, prescribes a set of home exercises, and more or less, sends you on your way. But Ashley Nardi is different. She sees you with different eyes. She is a skilled diagnostician, approaches each body for its uniqueness, thinks critically and scientifically and comes up with a hypothesis. When Ashley teaches you an exercise, she also teaches you how to know if you are doing it correctly. And herein lies one of her specialties. She teaches you to access your own body - to feel when the muscle is working and when it is not working. She teaches you to know your own body and to pay attention to what works and what doesn’t work. Ashley monitors the program she sets up for each of her patients and is sure each patient carefully and slowly performs each exercise to fully work and strengthen weakness. Ashley knows more versions of exercises with slight tweaks so that she can tailor them to the individual than I knew existed. It makes a huge difference; it makes a profound difference. Ashley tests her hypothesis and if it doesn’t work, she comes up with another one - until she - and ultimately - you, succeed. Ashley is also hands on. As scientific as she is, she is also heartfelt. When Ashley manipulates your body, she does so with strength, knowledge, unusual technique and compassion. But back to her toolbox. Ashley has a doctorate in Physical Therapy and with that comes an enormous skill set. Ashley is also a dancer and with that comes an enormous knowledge of the body. Ashley Nardi gave me my life back. With her commitment to my wellness, she created a win win. She will help you too."
"Ashley Nardi is a very skilled phsyical therapist and is a pleasure to work with. I have had a long time challenge with my SI joint and have worked with may practitioners and different modalities to try to restructure my body and find a new way to support my lower back. Ashley has taught me some very simple and easy to perform exercises that have done wonders for my posture and that are helping to strengthen my core. Her approach has definitely made a direct and positive impact on my specific issue and for the first time in a long while, I feel that I may be able to change this pattern permanently. I recommend Ashley often to my acupuncture clients who need help with re-posturing and realigning their bodies from the inside out. Jenn Collins, L.Ac. Ashland Holistic Health"
