Then he generally makes a simple suggestion that is easy to understand. He’s not a “tear your swing down” kind of teacher and instead makes small little adjustments and then allows you to build on them. "I saw Mike's add for golfing instruction in "Next Door" and decided to try him because I wanted to enjoy golf more by improving my game so I contacted Mike at his MB Golf Academy and talked a bit about where I started golfing and how I was doing now and what I wanted to do. We started the instruction and I found out quickly why I wasn't hitting the ball as well as I should. And it was simple. Mike showed me some warm up basics (each person is different so pick what works for you) how to approach the ball, line up your feet, grip the handle, back swing, rotate your hips, drop the club and rotate your hips again and follow through. Easy right? Do the exercises he shows you (here's two; practice swing drill and helicopter drill). He teaches you how easy it can be and how anybody can do it. He's vastly improved my swing and my enjoyment of golf. He teaches you in language and examples that you will understand and makes practice fun. You get an email after each lesson that tells you what the lesson was and how you did so you can rehash at your convenience. He's a nice down to earth guy and he's a friend.
