Calphin Swim Academy

"Awful. Our first day for our dtr, 6y/o. The coach spent 15mins of chatting with the two boys that were in the session with my dtr. There were only 3 students. Not sure how these coaches are trained to teach beginners but this one was HORRIBLE. He gave her a float surf and she’s to go at it. No focus on breathing, in the 30mins; each student dipped their head 2x and talk, talk, talk until I got up and reported it to the front desk staff. I called for a refund and was told I could not. I asked to switch to a more senior coach and that has to be reviewed because being a senior coach does not necessarily means the person is trained to teach young children. Once my dtr’s session is done; we will not be re-enrolling. Do not enroll your child in this school."

"My kids start learning swimming at Calphin at 6 years old. The program covers from beginning to high level. The owner was Olympic game medal winner. She has lots of swimming techniques and teaching experiences. It is a good swimming school to start learn swimming."

"My son has been attending Calphin's intensive training courses from March to May of 2022 11 times. He progressed significantly by acquiring all four positions' flip turns, push-offs, tight streamline, and dolphin kicks. Calphin provides top-notch professional training that better prepared my son to join the swim team after the tryout. Not long after joining the team, he successfully participated in several swimming competitions that ultimately made him achieve several A times of multiple events in the age 8 group."
