"Ok. I am going to be fair. I wish they had a mechanism for feedbacks but this place is the only place to provide feedback. The good: 1. Bay club Courtside in Los Gatos is generally good. It is huge, looks like a nice hotel and has a good vibe for professionals and people who want to stay in shape, it is not a place for puffed up bodybuilders and people who constantly show off. 2. The pool and Jacuzzi is so nice the tennis courts nicer but you have to pay extra to use them. 3. The classes are good but limited for after working hours. The bad: 1. There are many cardio machines but not many essential strengths workout machine. Some don't even exist, can you believe there is no Inner And Outer Thigh Machine??? Why? 2. The towels are bad quality, have stains sometimes and are very small and thin. I prefer getting only 2,3 towels at the front door with better quality rather than having unlimited towels with this quality. People use towels to stand barefoot while changing clothes, they take 4,5 to the shower they do everything. I think working on the quality is better than having the unlimited quantity. 3. Showers: BAD! Not good for the expensive so called classy Bay Club. They are old, dirty, gross, hair everywhere, I am grossed out every time. Please upgrade your showers, install new functional hand showers so that people can use it to clean the floor after they shower. They cannot do that now because it is a fix head shower only. It is just GROSS! 4. Shampoo, body wash, conditioner, all horrible quality. They smell bad. We don't expect expensive shampoo but at least something that smells better. 5. Very old looking Carpets in the gym upstairs and downstairs. General cleanness of the locker room shower and bathroom is not at the standard quality. Hiring only 2 more people in cleaning staff would help this. I don't see cleaning people regularly clean showers. I only see a couple of ladies taking the towels only. How often do you clean the showers and take the disgusting hair clumps? Whatever it is, it is not enough. In general, if Bay Club keeps the gym cleaner , do some upgrades for carpets, floors walls and adds the essential workout machines that are missing and most importantly upgrade and remodel the showers with hand showers and keep them clean, the gym would be "perfect"."
"The worst experience, save your money. Spa service is lackluster and no customer service! Los Gatos isn’t known for its diversity either, if you’re a minority be prepared to get looks from members. The women’s locker room to top it off had an unpleasant smell. The pool while seemingly nice looked like a retirement community. Ha! Overall, a unwelcoming experience and the membership team ( Chris Larson) had the audacity to to reach out asking about membership interest. After our negative survey review. Mind boggling. The facility is so out dated and bathrooms tiny and again require upgrades. All that money they charge one would think you’d upgrade your facilities. You’ll be better off going to the ymca! Will never ever go back. Worst experience from the moment we walked in and could not wait to leave!!!"
"The offerings and scope of the Courtside Bay Club are amazingly wide. It you play a racquet sport like I do it’s THE club to belong. Pools are fabulous. All sorts of people are members - seems very inclusive. Everyone is super friendly, members, desk and cafe staff, summer camp counselors, instructors, coaches & membership guy Jericho - impressively friendly!! I’ve been a member for 6 weeks and LOVE it!"
"I had heard great things about the Bay Club from a coworker and wanted to check it out with a day pass offer advertised on the website. My friend and I booked a tour for 5 pm, it got moved to 7 pm with no notice and when we showed up almost 2 hours early, the front desk said that our tour guide had already left for the day. They tried to make it seem as if we just walked in and when we showed them the email confirmation of “them” switching it to 7 pm, they had no excuses and called in someone from back office to give us a tour. Unfortunately they did not know anything about the day pass offer nor did they give us any membership / club information. We asked for a pricing sheet and they said they didn’t have it and just gave us 2 business cards that were not his and said “ok bye”. It seemed that we were not welcome and wanted us to leave asap. We showed them the day pass offer on the Bay Club’s own website and finally the front desk guy said he did know about the day pass but that we would have to book an appointment to come in which makes no sense since we got multiple email confirmations about the appointment we ALREADY booked. Very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend other friends or people to join or visit this club again."
"Best Fitness and recreation Club in the Bay Area. Love going there to enjoy my daily fitness exercises before and after a full day working. A great place to go and unwind, relax and get fit, especially after being in a sedentary position in front of a computer and being on the cellphone or in person working with customers all day. There are club campuses all over Bay Area. Cafe and restaurant, business center suites inside most clubs. Day Spa and massage salon, indoor and outdoor sauna, swimming, tennis outdoor/indoor courts, basketball indoor court, many studios for pilates, yoga, dance, stretching and varoius machines and equipment for strength and weight lifting. They have Separate areas and programs for families with young children with swimming pools and tennis for private and group lessons. Due to covid19 restrictions, many of the club amenities are closed and not available or very limited to comply with isolation and social distance mandated by local and state government agencies. However, when the club is fully operating and not being restricted to fully function, it's the best place to go for recreation, fitness, socialize, and remote work for business or school in a separate business suite. It's a place for everyone of all ages and genders to enjoy, have fun, get fit to live healthy and happy."
