"Very kind and very focus on their services ' my son going there almost 3 years - and very great work out- always good environment highly recommended this place"
"What do I know about karate... Not much. Seen some shows though. Doesn't do it justice. Decided what I didn't know my kids should and I'm happy I did. My oldest is absolutely loving it so far and could be prouder of themselves. I'm just as proud of the effort they are all are showing. The professor and instructing staff are highly involved and passionate about the instruction, not to mention the success of each student. Watch out for those parents are involved sessions though.. I need to be in better shape.. but it was a blast to be side by side with my children and be part of the action and instruction they enjoy! Not much has changed since my original post, the classes have gotten larger as more students have joined the Campos family but that really hasn't changed the dynamics much. Because as they grew so have the existing students, some of which gave belted up, to the point that they are no longer just students but must also be teachers as part of their training. That level of involvement is what makes this such great motivation for the other kids."
"Campos Karate is an awesome place for kids to have fun and get some exercise! Pros: - Excellent teachers! The main teacher has a no nonsense approach that is very refreshing and helps teach the students accountability, discipline and respect. He is very charismatic and inspires the students to do better and be better human beings. He not only teaches karate but valuable life lessons. The younger student teachers are also top notch and are patient and kind. - Cool classes! My son always came home showing us new things he had learned. The classes are exciting and engaging enough for a teen to show interest. The daughter is super accomplished in karate with tons of amazing trophies and titles. She teaches directly and has a great and interesting style to her teaching. - Exhausting classes! The kids work up a sweat and are always moving! It's a great workout and when my son came home he was always ready to sleep well that night! - Easy payments! They accept VenMo which makes paying for the class so easy. They are very kind when reminding you that your dues are owed. Cons: - Random schedule. My son's classes had "set days" of Mon, Wed, Sat but those days were fast and loose. We'd show up to an empty building or miss classes with no idea that the schedule had changed. When I texted about follow up information I would get terse replies about how I needed to check their Facebook page, even though my family doesn't use Facebook and can't view it without an account. No other heads up avaliable whatsoever. Another time my sons were so excited about a pizza party - talked about it for days - they got turned away because there was a $50 (per child!) cover charge we didn't know about beforehand so they loitered in the parking lot until we picked them up. Overall a wonderful place to go if your child is looking to get into martial arts!"
"My son and nephew have been attending Campos for a few weeks now. It is the absolute best. Everyone is very friendly, professional, and excellent with our boys. They are doing a great job handling all Covid-19 guidelines and providing a safe place for our boys to learn and improve their karate skills. We are very satisfied with Campos!"
"Professor Campos and the rest of the Campos Shaolin Kenpo family is second to none. If you want your kids to lear discipline, self defense, and build up self confidence, this is definitely the school for you. My kids have been going to Campos Shaolin Kenpo for many years and it just made them better overall in all aspects of life. They learn how to truly be respectful, have self control, and the best part, learn to act properly in public places! Thank you Professor Campos for all that you do for our kids!!"
