"Strong, Fit, Fun describe this spirited community. Experience, training, and client-centric awareness inform their effective coaching that aims to exceed expectations, model and encourage exceptional sportsmanship, elevate athleticism and wellness. I’ve been training at Paradigm Sport since 2014. 6AM Team Training is a physical challenge that gives me strength, mental clarity and positive energy for the day ahead. Every stretch, strength and functional movement that I do in the gym is foundational to my active lifestyle outside; hiking, running, swimming, dressage. My son, NCAA DIII athlete (xcountry, swim, distance track), triathlete (70.3), California State Lifeguard, trains here too during breaks from college. We love this place and the people we train with. I highly recommend giving Paradigm Sport a try, then join us with your commitment to health for life. You will thank yourself and the crew, every training day, every year."
"I cannot say enough good things about getting to be a part of this community. Being new to the area away from home was a challenge, but a lot of things in my personal life shifted for the better when I started working out with the personal trainers here. So lucky to have had a space like Paradigm."
"I've been working out at Paradigm for a few years now and it's been a really great experience overall. After 35 years playing competitive beach volleyball, it's hard to stay fit enough to keep competing at a high level without injuring myself, while juggling a full-time career and family. Paradigm has made all the difference. Having a top-notch facility and trainer tailor my workouts and keep me on track makes each session efficient and effective. Not only am I still competing, I'm better in all the other areas of my life as a result. Thank you to everyone at Paradigm for all you do for me and the whole community!"
"My 7 year old (now 8) played baseball for the first time last spring in the A division. He had a great season and was looking to strengthen and build his skills during the off-season. He did the Paradigm Sport baseball camp (both seasons) he loved it and learned so much. He was so darn excited to go every single day. He loved playing with kids of all levels, the coaches and of course the awesome lunches. My son did one on one lessons with Kevin throughout the winter and did the clinics at Paradigm as well. Most recently he participated in the Harbor High Weekend Baseball Camp per the recommendation of the Paradigm coaches. A few weeks ago my so. did his first AA Little League Evaluations and it was clear by watching him he was on a different level than the majority of the players. He was confident, knowledgeable, yet kind and humble. A big thank you to Paradigm Sport for providing so many different opportunities for kids to work on their baseball skills. My kiddo is living proof that the development that is happening for young athletes at Paradigm is making a difference! After evaluations he was called by the player agent for SCLL asking if he would be willing to move up to AAA. The important part of all this isn’t necessarily how much he has improved but that it’s that I have been told over and over what a positive attitude he has. People tell us he is a team player, cheers for all and is kind and compassionate. Being good at a sport you love is so great but being a good person is far more important. I think a lot of his PMA (positive mental attitude - taught by coach Jake Angelo) when it comes to the game and his peers is because of the positive influence the Paradigm coaches have had on him. Most notably is Jake Angelo’s PMA philosophy that we use every single day in our household and Kevin Eichhorn’s unparalleled positive encouragement and influence. I observed him at the HHS camp ask the youngest and most inexperienced player if he wanted to play catch. Later he told me he knew that kid wasn’t very good and that it wasn’t going to be much fun for him but that kid needed to feel included. When he got the call to move up to AAA one of the first things he said was “Well, who is going to help the kids who are still learning of I’m not there”. There is something magical that is happening through the coaching and mental mindset practice at Paradigm. As kids get older and reach those pre-teen/ teenage years having a place and a sport they can turn to is so critical. Thank you for being that place for the youth baseball players in this community. YOU are appreciated."
