Up The Middle (UTM) is a top-notch health institution located at 201 Old County Road in Belmont, California. Our 5,000 square-foot indoor sports training facility is equipped with four lanes of batting cages and professional fitness training equipment, making it the perfect place for comprehensive sports and fitness training. We offer state-of-the-art training services, including video analysis for hitting and pitching in baseball and softball, as well as private and group instruction for sports performance and physical fitness. Our facility is also available for rent to individuals, teams, clubs, and professional coaches on a daily, weekly, or long-term basis.
At Up The Middle, we have a team of dedicated professional trainers who specialize in baseball, softball, sports mobility, fitness, and nutrition. Your success is our main focus, and we strive to create an inclusive community by providing a clean and modern training facility that caters to all your training needs.
One of our flagship programs is USA Prime Peninsula, the premier baseball academy for players aged 6-18 on the Peninsula. This professionally coached program is unique in its focus on all age groups within that range.
In addition to our sports and fitness programs, we also support individuals fighting back against Parkinson's disease through our partnership with www.rocksteadyboxingsfbayarea.com. Please note that all participants must complete the necessary waivers before entering our facility. "Coach Drew and his staff don't just know baseball mechanics inside and out, they also know Physics. And they are inseparable in their coaching. I'm fascinated watching Up the Middle lessons. Instead of telling a kid six different things to think about while throwing or hitting, they'll do six different drills, each one informing a different element/body mechanic of the form. They repeat these drills until the kid's body knows each without thinking and is able to put them together into a stinger throw, a confident catch, or a crusher hit.
