"It's immature and unattractive to talk about one another ladies. Y'all have too much time on your hands. If you don't like one another, take it up like adults. I was looking to learn about local horse opportunities, but like other spoiled and over-privileged, ungrateful "horse" girls...I am embarrassed for you both."
"I would not recommend anyone to take a lesson from Oni Rovatti. I just moved my horse from Sweeney Ridge whom I adore but just could not deal with Oni's rudeness. She yells at other boarders on a regular, yells at her students while giving lessons, doesn't keep her dog on a leash and yells at other trainers and riders. She does not own any of the horses she uses and has been known to cuss at others habitually. I know this because of my personal dealings with her as well as watching her treat others horribly. I have never stalked Oni Rovatti nor been arrested EVER!!!! I decided to edit my review after Oni Rovatti posted lies in this public forum which hold no merit. To defame my character with inaccurate information is unprofessional and libel."
"The impression here of Oni Rovatti and St. Francis Riding Club is misleading and unfair. We had our horse at Sweeney Ridge for four years, the last year with Oni under the auspices of St. Francis Riding Club. The care she provided our mare was extraordinary. She helped us work through behavior issues in her stall, soaked and wrapped her hoof each day when she abscessed, and talked us through a terrifying colic episode. She made sure our mare was warm and dry at night, and that we (and all her boarders) upheld Oni's high standards of order and cleanliness, which (as she said) showed respect to the horses under our care. Oni stayed late at night to make sure that each horse had eaten his/her dinner and would happily accept a few carrots before bed. As every horse owner knows, such care is extraordinary and provides tremendous peace of mind. Oni is a consummate horsewoman, with tremendous experience and knowledge in classical technique. Although our discipline is primarily hunter/jumper, we have been working with Oni to develop our dressage capacity. Oni is a forceful and powerful teacher, and a strong presence in the arena. This strength is coupled with perception and intelligence. Both our mare and my 19 year-old daughter have grown tremendously under her instruction. Our mare is learning to carry herself in a frame and has developed a top line for the first time ever. She is a spooky and sensitive girl, and she loves Oni. You can see her visibly relax in Oni's presence. She knows she is in the presence of a confident and capable leader who will watch out for her best interests. Likewise, my daughter has experienced both her riding ability and her relationship with her horse grow by leaps and bounds. Oni is giving us the tools to work with our horse on an entirely different level. We are so fortunate to have worked with Oni and hope to work with her in the future for a long, long time."
