"Dr. Garvey completely redeemed my faith in Kaiser and Western Medicine. Once I was diagnosed and referred to Dr.Garvey, I was “quickly” scheduled for a consultation. I was impressed with the care and concern expressed by her team over the phone. My first meeting with Dr.Garvey was a full hour. She drew diagrams and explained everything I was experiencing in detail. She went back so far as to describe what I must have experienced in adolescence and it brought tears to my eyes. She 100% described everything that endometriosis with empathy. I felt as if everything finally made sense. I had one ovary with a mass the size of a softball and the other ovary with a adnexal torsion which resulted in necrosis. Dr.Garvey, her staff, the nurses and everyone at the surgery center were calm, collective, positive, kind, informative, professional and empathetic. I have never been so impressed with a doctor. I literally can’t say enough to describe how remarkable this doctor and her team are. If you need an endometriosis specialist, and are lucky enough to be referred to Dr.Garvey, I can assure you, you are in the best care possible! I only wrote “quickly” (above) in quotations because she tends to be very booked up but, she is worth the wait."
