"This was 22 years ago and the first time I’ve publicly shared this. 10 days after my daughters birth I drowned from my vomit from an eclamptic seizure. I suffered a clinical death and was saved by my husband doing CPR and an amazing Dr. in the ER. I told Dr. Suzanne Schweikert, my OBGYN that my two previous pregnancies were pre eclamptic, but she would not diagnose that, even though blood pressure and water retention we abnormal. She kept telling me to watch my weight and I said I don’t eat lot and have never been overweight. She never listened, always rude and condescending. This was a group of women Drs. office and always ended up with her. When she released me from hospital I asked her what could be done about the water retention, she said I would need to see another Dr., it had nothing to do with the pregnancy. 10 days after birth, have an eclamptic seizure, drowned and suffered a clinical death. I died for a few minutes. I was put into a drug induced coma on a vent for 8 days. Told my husband don’t know if she’ll wake up or if she will be a vegetable. I did wake up and had to learn to walk, talk and eat again. I still suffer from short term memory loss. Couldn’t afford to sue her and too late now. I know she was contacted about my event and she never reached out or asked why I collected my records."
