She had no bedside manner, did not follow though with our birth plan, and kept us in the dark of what was happening, making the process even more terrifying. "I saw a review that was posted and wanted to share my story. Dr Jain did my delivery. She is dangerous and I do not recommend  her to anyone. She caused a lot more injuries to me during delivery, I could hear the nurses gasping and getting angry at her actions. When I went for post birth follow up, she conveniently hid the extent of my injuries and gave me bare minimal pain medication and did not refer me to any specialist. I came to know of my injuries when i requested records from the hospital separately!"

"My wife and I were utterly crushed by the experience with Dr. Amita Jain four years ago. She delivered our son as the OBGYN on call during the birth. To this day (4 years after the birth) my wife still has chronic joint and pelvic pain caused by the child birth as well as severe medical PTSD and birth trauma. Dr. Jain was cold and lacking compassion, arriving late and disregarding most of the birth plan after taking over from Dr. Wilkinson on the 2nd day of induction. My wife had an incredibly painful delivery under Dr. Jain's supervision, resulting in a 3rd degree tear. Despite this, Dr. Jain refused to follow our birth plan, did not comfort her, and hid details of the veracity of the tear. My wife and I had to spend over a year digging through medical records to identify the details Dr. Jain hid from us, which is critical for healing. In a follow-up appointment, Dr. Jain completely ignored my wife's obvious mental health struggle and minimized her physical pain resulting from the birth. Had she not acted so distant and careless, my wife's health today could have been completely different. DO NOT go to Dr. Anita Jain or IGO if you value your health, physical and mental. We are still recovering from her actions during delivery and postpartum care and hope no one else has to go through the same."

"I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Amita Jain. During my pregnancy, it became evident that the doctor showed a complete lack of concern for my well-being. Instead of prioritizing my health and the needs of my unborn child, it seemed that their main focus was simply billing my insurance. What was even more disheartening was the complete absence of personal communication. Not once did Dr.Lily (PA) failed to reach out to me personally to discuss my condition or address any concerns. I felt like just another number on their list, rather than a patient in need of care and support during such a crucial time. To make matters worse, the doctor displayed a complete lack of bedside manner. There was no warmth, empathy, or even a basic level of human connection during my visits. It felt like a transactional experience, where my health and well-being were secondary to their financial interests. As a pregnant woman seeking medical guidance, I expected a doctor who would prioritize my health, provide personalized care, and show genuine concern. Unfortunately, this practice failed to meet even the most basic expectations in these areas. I get it SD is over populated but we are human beings! I strongly advise anyone seeking compassionate and patient-centered care to look elsewhere. It is essential to find a healthcare provider who values their patients and understands the significance of their role during pregnancy. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend their services to anyone who is pregnant and looking for holistic approaches."

"Dr. Jain is an amazing human being. Being an OBGYN was definitely her calling in life. I have had two babies with her. The first was an amazing pregnancy and she supported me with my decision to go all natural with no epidural. She and her team honored my birth plan and never once mentioned epidural - even though my girl was sunny side up! My second pregnancy was also great, until at 34 weeks we discovered I had vasa previa and would need a C Section. She was so kind and positive and assuring. She gave my husband and I huge heart felt hugs before and after surgery. She really cares about her patients and has awesome energy. I just sent a message today through My Chart and received a response in less than an hour! One reviewer had issues and though I've never had response time issues, perhaps they have resolved them! I definitely recommend Dr. Jain for all your OBGYN needs."
