"Doctor Perea delivered my daughter and I will definitely make sure he delivers all my kids in the future. During my appointments he was always checking up on me making sure I was eating right and sure enough that paid off because my delivery was so quick and easy. Going in as a first time mom I was so terrified of giving birth but because of him the experience was so easy and beautiful. He is hands down the best doctor!"

"Absolutely DO NOT recommend. He is beyond unprofessional and has no tact. He exited a room with a Mom and proceeds to audibly say in the hallway "It's so refreshing. We're so used to seeing 220 pounders, 230 pounders. Keep up the great work Mom with the diet." Mind you I can hear him in my room with my door shut, so I know all the other Moms can hear him in their room. That patient then leaves and he starts talking with someone shadowing from Loma Linda about how this lady only weighs 145 lbs., it's so refreshing, and it all starts from a young age teaching nutrition. Dr. Perea then proceeds to go into the room neighboring mine to a Mom who is over that weight limit and is just hammering her about diet and nothing else. They then enter my room. He does not ask how I am, but the gentleman shadowing does. I stated I was uncomfortable. And he goes, "Already? Is it because of the weight?" I said "No, because he moves a lot." After just hearing how they were speaking in the hallway this disgusted me- the hyper fixation on weight and no care about any other aspect of the pregnancy or well-being of the expecting Moms. Mind you my weight gain is within recommended guidelines for being 6 months pregnant. There was NO tact, no care for the patient. In fact, when he came in, Dr. Perea didn't know who I was. He asked if he'd seen me before (he had). 1) How sickening as a health professional to refer to human beings as 220 pounders and 230 pounders like cattle? 2) How sickening to audibly speak like this in the the common area where every client can hear, and may be at or above this weight 3) Everyone's pregnancy is different, genetics, pre-existing conditions, etc. Why are you, as a medical professional, comparing patients PUBLICLY and body shaming an already vulnerable population of people? I am thankful we are moving and I do not have to have this man birth my child. I do not want someone like this touching me or being present during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life."

"LOVE!! Perea delivered my first at hemet hospital in 2018, he was amazing! Made me feel comfortable through my entire labor and even came to check on me after I gave birth in the hospital room , he’s patient and listened to everything I had to say! I’m currently pregnant & he will be delivering this one also! :)"

"Dr. Perea is an amazing caring doctor, he delivered my baby girl and his staff, nurses and everyone involved were very nice, caring and helpful. He also did my tubal ligation surgery and he explained everything. Always nice and professional. Both procedures were at the Hemet Valley Medical Center and everyone was super nice, attentive and helpful to everyone of my needs. The hospital is outdated, but Dr.Perea, nurses and staff make up for it."
