"This review is aimed at the receptionist who picked up the phone. I was feeling very ill lately and just wanted a quick call for an appointment. I then called during regular business hours around 11 o'clock, and no answer. I figured they were busy, so I proceeded to call the other phone number listed on the site. The receptionist who picks up tells me with a terrible attitude, telling me "I only picked up because you called twice!!" What? As if I have been spamming the call and somehow bothering you? This is your JOB to pick up the phone and assist PATIENTS with what you are able to do--the bare minimum. It speaks to poor professionalism. I want to express my frustration and disappointment with this interaction, as it left a negative impression of the facility as a whole. It is essential for the initial contact person to be approachable, compassionate, and understanding, especially in a medical setting where patients may be seeking urgent care or feeling vulnerable. I hope that this feedback can help improve the overall experience for other patients and ensure that they receive the care and support they need from the moment they reach out for assistance."

"The only one who knows how to help the pregnant patients is Alex. Everyone else is clueless The NPR is overwhelmed with patients back to back so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. What I don’t like is that she did not recommend me to a high risk specialist when I told her about my prior health conditions. Also * on a side note to the Rancho Ofc If you’re going to be upset at a pregnant mom when you’re answering the phone. You should keep your comments to your self … you were not professional venting to your other MA or Ofc Rep about the last phone call you had was bad. If Dr Alwan was still there I would have had no problem but he is not any more so it’s a hit or miss coming to Upland or the Rancho Location Good Luck ."

"My experience with doctor Alwan was amazing, he was attentive, and cared for me and my son. He did a beautiful cut, it was not noticeable at all when it healed. And overall i felt secure having him has a doctor."

"Always respectful and caring! Dr. Alwan and his staff have taken care of me through two deliveries and over 18 years, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks. He is always patient, kind and considerate of both mine and my husband's feelings. Most times I am in and out of the office for my appointments, but I do try to give the staff some grace because I understand that emergencies are unexpected and having your OB/Gyn there taking his time to care for you is what we're all looking for."

"Dr. Alwan delivered my baby girl in 2015 via c-section. My pregnancy was high risk and Dr. Alwan was AMAZING. He along with his entire staff at the Upland and Rancho offices are always pleasant to see. Yes, at times the wait time can be long or he's not in the office due to medical emergencies for other patients but this translates into excellent patient care and bed side manner. Something all of us can appreciate. Dr. Alwan never rushes and takes the time to listen to you. He listens so much that he offers options thay are reasonable and ensure a better quality of life. Fast forward now in 2019 I had hysterectomy due to years of pain from endometriosis and fibroids. Dr. Alwan has alleviated my mental and physical anguish. He's absolutely amazing. Thank you Doctor!"
