"October 28, 2014 My name is Jeanette Bogacz Dr. Dikio is terrific! He is very helpful and easy to talk to. I have complete confidence in him as a doctor. My problem is with his office staff and the lack of help and compassion shown by his staff and the procedures used. .If you call and you are seen at the Los Alamitos office and they are at the Bellflower office you have to call back the next day. Most of the time it is not convenient to have to call back. You are calling because your question is important and you are calling at a time that is convenient. In this day of computers why can't your information be accessed regardless of which office is being used that day. The phone number is the same for each office. The website does not give any indication of hours/days at each location and the staff is not helpful - but rather discourtious and abrupt. I was seen by Dr. Dikio on September 15, 2014 and was given a prescription. I called Optium RX and was told the prescription had to be faxed in by the doctors office. Then a few days later I was told my insurance didn't cover the medication. After several days of trying to speak to the office staff and someone at Optium RX who could help me I found out there were 3 alternative medications. To make a very long story short - I have been told numerous times that the information was either faxed in or that I had to call back when they were in the right office. I have even been sent an incorrect medication and I have been put through so much grief and confusion both on the doctors side of this mess as well as the Optium RX side that I have been in tears on more than one occasion. No one is welling to take responsibility and just start at the beginning and order and send the correction medication. It is now October 28, 2014 and I still don't have my prescription. Not all of the fault is due to Dr. Dikio's staff but they have Never made it easy nor were they helpful at all during this process."
