"This review is long overdue. Dr. Richmond graciously took me on as a patient in around April 2020– right at the beginning/worst of COVID—when my OB decided it was necessary to retire. Given his age (mid 80’s) and the circumstances, I totally respected and encouraged that decision. I was about 5 months pregnant at the time, with a pretty complicated pregnancy due to blood pressure that was hard to manage, plus I was 40 and not in the best shape to begin with. Through all of these challenges Dr. Richmond did his best to keep me calm, manage my BP meds, when the specialty docs who prescribed them took a leave; and make sure my baby was ok. He always knew right where my baby was, despite my anterior placenta. He obliged my neurosis at all hours of the night, and he was a wonderful, skilled surgeon, when it came time to deliver my premature baby. I barely have scar and I have a healthy, beautiful now toddler. Wonderful doctor. Very knowledgable and caring. Wonderful nurses and staff. I just don’t want to get too attached because I imagine he will be retiring soon as well."
