"I had a similar experience to the most recent review. Dr. Amersi refused to share my medical records unless I paid $75 which is against the law in the state of California. She won’t allow refills for my thyroid medication without coming in and paying for blood tests. I would not recommend this doctor."

"Dr. Amersi is the most wonderful doctor and person, I cannot recommend her enough. A friend of mine gave me her information when I got pregnant and switching to her practice was the best thing I did for my family. Dr. Amersi brought my two beautiful and healthy kids into this world and kept me sane during the process. Pregnancy is not easy, but Dr. Amersi makes you feel confident and loved because she is not only brilliant, just an incredible doctor and scholar, but she is also so kind and warm and a gem of a person. Dr. Amersi has also continued to take care of me post-babies and recently caught a hormone issue that I am dealing with. If it wasn’t for her, I would certainly be in rough shape. She is always there to answer questions and give advice. There is no better OB around. Thank you, Dr. Amersi."

"I came to Dr. Amersi because of all the good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was poor enough to write this 1 star review. I found the doctor to be quite cold in our appointment, which is not the sensation you’d like to feel with such a private appointment. But why I’ve chosen to write this review is because on request for an email of my medical records, so I can see a doctor I’m comfortable with the Dr. refused to send my records unless I pay a 75.00 fee."

"I just feel like I would be doing everyone a disservice for not posting about my experience with Dr. Amersi. You're probably looking to see her for the same exact reason I chose her -- which are all these fantastic reviews of Dr. Amersi but unfortunately, I've been extremely disappointed with my care under Dr. Amersi. When you first go see her, please expect to pay a $360 flat rate fee to just make appointments with her and to see her. This can't be billed to insurance and is separate from the bill you'll get following your appointment. I saw Dr. Amersi twice in December because I had hormonal acne, that I suspected was due to a hormonal imbalance. I was really excited to start care with a new doctor that seemed to be caring but if I'm being honest, I felt like I got the complete opposite of that. She was rude, rushed, and interrupted me whenever I had a question. She answered my questions as if they were "dumb" questions and she was quick to diagnose without much room for discussion. She'll make you take out your laptop and immediately ask you to buy vitamins using her promo code. I did some blood work with her and reviewed them with her in my second appointment. Even though all my blood work came back normal, she again, was quick to diagnose that I had PCOs. She immediately made me buy more supplements, suggested I make certain lifestyle changes, and again -- hastily left the room. Thankfully, I have friends that are also doctors (who are friends with doctors that specialize with PCOs) and they reviewed my results as well and confirmed that I don't have PCOs. Dr. Amersi misdiagnosed me, made me buy unnecessary supplements that were not related to curing or helping my symptoms, and will also have the audacity to charge you $75 for YOUR OWN PERSONAL HEALTH RECORDS. Would not recommend you to go see her."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. This doctor visit was an absolute nightmare and completely mismanaged. She was inattentive and careless. Her staff sent my labs to an OUT OF NETWORK laboratory AFTER being made aware of my insurance and clinically misdiagnosed me. After receiving an $800 bill in the mail, I called her office extremely concerned. She was nothing but uncooperative with zero empathy in regard to helping resolve the bill or accepting responsibility for her staff's error. Not only that... after the disagreement, six months after my visit, she updated her billing department to privately bill me for $250... for what??? This doctor is money hungry and too big for her britches. I absolutely do not recommend this doctor. I went to her with likely the same reason you all did, hope for a doctor that cares and knows what they are talking about. SHE DID NOT. An absolute disappointment to see a doctor take advantage of sick patients. An absolute disgrace to see doctors attempt to defer responsibility and scam. SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND HEALTH. Go somewhere else."
