"They were possible to give a doctor less than one star. I would do that. He is a complete butcher.very abusive. If you're planning on seeing this doctor. You should read the reviews. The things he's done to people is horrendous. He should not even be licensed."

"I witnessed a terrible experience at a birth with Dr Bruksch. He was abusive during labor and delivery. Didn’t ask for consent or even inform the patient before preforming a large left mediateral episiotomy and didn’t acknowledge to the patient that it was preformed after the fact either - the nurses were the ones who told the patient after he left the delivery and helped her understand the results and gave her information for after care. He prepared her for the episiotomy before there was any indication for the intervention and then preformed the procedure quickly without consent or any conversation. He cut very deeply and without care. He used a Peudendal block and then strongly pinched her vaginal tissue to check that the numbing was effective while smiling and saying it was quite a sharp pinch - if the numbing was working she would really have felt that. It’s as if he’s still operating in the birth norms and understanding of birth from the 70s. We know much more now and we know that the risks of these procedures do not outweigh the short term benefits of getting a baby out quicker. He’s cold and uncaring and abusive. Please don’t use him - he was the choice that was chosen only because he is the one in plaza towers that delivers babies and so the other GYNs refer to him. However his care during birth is aggressive and damaging and unkind unlike the other providers. Don’t expect anything else from this Dr."

"I started seeing Dr. Chang around 6 years ago, who I've only had exceptional and professional care from. I moved out of state for a year with my family and just came back to L.A. to find out Dr. Chang had retired from that office. I was deeply disappointed that I had to see Dr. Bruksch temporarily until I found a new OBGYN, but had to out of timing. I had seen him once before a couple of years ago and he was brash, rude, with no compassion. and also gave me no help or feedback as a Dr. during and after my visit. I went to see him at his Westchester office and he walked into the room, never said hello, never made eye contact, and proceeded to examine me. The nurse Yvette that was present was very sweet and professional and I'm thankful she was there. He then asked me to meet me in his office. The first thing he said to me was that I didn't need a mask and "Covid is a just cold". I had just recovered from Covid and it definitely wasn't JUST a cold. I'm asthmatic and still have a bad cough from it 3 months later currently. I was shocked by his unsolicited comment, especially coming from a doctor. He had no mask on and told me he had Covid 1-3 times already. I was disturbed and feared for my health and safety at that point. He then proceeded to talk me into not getting a procedure done that I was considering and told me he'd be in Maui on vacation and I'd have to seek other options. It was the worst doctors visit I've had in my life. I left there feeling disturbed and with no answers as to why I went there in the first place. My second and last visit was recently. I had to see him once again due to timing and necessity since my new OB isn't available until 3 weeks out. This visit was even more horrifying than the first. I should've followed my gut and never went. I was accompanied by a family member who drove me on this visit. Upon being called in by Dr. Bruksch, I was asked to go into his office first which I thought was unusual. My family member accompanied me in. Dr. Bruksch started asking me questions I has already answered on this first visit then proceeded to go into my HEALTH HISTORY in front of another person. He never once asked me if this was ok to do, and then proceeded to give personal information about me in front of another person. This violated HIPAA and patient confidentiality in every way. I was shocked and in tears almost. He then for the second time told me I didn't need a mask and had no reason to wear one. The entire experience of sitting in his office was horrifying. I reiterated to him why I was there and asked him to examine me. We went into the exam room and the same harsh, unsympathetic, and rude demeanor was given. I was so shaken up I couldn't even process the experience I was having. I never made a follow up appointment and left. This review is really for all you women out there searching for a GYNO and hoping to receive humane treatment when going into a an already uncomfortable situation at times. Please do yourself a favor and never go to Dr. Bruksch. He should not be caring for women's health and a formal letter will be sent to his department head."

"Dr Bruksch is one of the most unsympathetic, cold human beings i have experienced in my battle with endometriosis. My regular doctor (the miraculous and lovely Dr. Jitsen Chang) was out of the office today, but i began having severe back and stomach pain and bleeding , so i scheduled an appointment with whoever was in. Firstly, i arrive for my appointment on time, only to be told the doctor had something else to do and wanted me to come back at one. He didn't apologize or even tell me himself, he had an assistant do it. I had taken a Lyft, so i had to wait around the office for over an hour. When he finally graced me with his presence, he didn't introduce himself, shake my hand, nothing. He asked "Are you on birth control? What are taking? " Had he even looked at my chart? My guess is no. I told the doc about my symptoms, and he said"Well, I dont know what you want me to do" He ,begrudgingly ,after my request for an ultrasound, gave me the roughest vaginal ultrasound i have ever been subjected to. Repeated his" What do you want me to do about" mantra, and left. Nicole, his assistant was amazing, as all the women on the support staff. I would much rather take my chances with a shady ass Koreatown urgent care then ever deal with this horrible person again. If you want to be treated like a person and have your legitimate chronic illness acknowledged, STAY FAR A WA Y FROM "DR" BRUKSCH! !!"
