"I have been going to Dr. white from last 6 years and she is one of the best doctor makes you feel positive , comfortable and provides lot of information for pregnancy during and after ."
"In March I had a C-section performed for the delivery of my baby with Dr. Cary Hill from the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. One day after the c-section, a huge tissue came out of me. A few hours later, another huge tissue came out of me and dropped into the toilet. I was sent to the Radiology department for an ultrasound. The obstetrician on duty (Dr. Karen White) ordered it to check if my uterus is empty now. When I got there, the technician said the obstetrician ordered the abdominal test which didn't include assessment of the uterus. She said she could only do what the doctor ordered so I was sent back after the abdominal test finished. We asked Dr. Karen White who ordered the abdominal test to explain but she refused to show up or talk to us. Only the nurse came and told us the doctor ordered the wrong test and would order the correct one. On the afternoon, I was sent to the Radiology department again. This time the technician drew a sharp intake of breath when she saw my surgical wound and said she couldn't do the ultrasound over the incision. She called her manager and asked another technician came in to witness when she explained it. So I had to be pushed back again. I was sent back and on the verge of collapse--I was very weak after the surgery and heavy bleeding, scared about the accidents, worried about my baby, pulled out of bed twice a day but didn't even get the correct ultrasound test. The journey between my room and the Radiology department was torture. It was very cold on the way and there are many bumps. Every time the wheelchair is over a bump, my wound feels very very painful. As a new mother in a foreign country, I endure pain, racism, confused advice, and get so little support at PAMF."
