Mariposa Hall

Mariposa Hall is a university located on Moraga Way in Sacramento, California, United States. As part of Sacramento State, Mariposa Hall is dedicated to promoting antiracism and diversity through various programs, initiatives, and research. The institution recently showcased its progress on these goals during a daylong event on March 25.

One of the unique programs at Mariposa Hall is the Folsom Prison Theatre Troupe, in partnership with the Prison Arts Collective. This initiative aims to give incarcerated individuals a voice and foster empathy for those behind bars. Additionally, the institution is proud to have Timothy Fong leading the new Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Student Achievement Program, building on his extensive experience directing the nationally recognized Full Circle Project.
