The Don's Deli

"I've heard about the Don's Deli from my old pal Stinky Wedemeyer, and since I'm in Sunnyvale with my pal Thelonious Grumpsteller helping him out with issues he's got with his neighbor's Honey Badger tearing up his Pinkalilly patch, I'll be going there for sure. Well, it's a first for me having to deal with a Honey Badger, they're nasty little creatures, and almost as mean as Ol Mable Spinticket, so I'll just do the same to it as I did to Mabel...I put a handful of chopped up Ghost Peppers in it mouth. He won't be back, that's for sure. Man-O-Man, that Don's Deli sure makes a great sandwich, it was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆"

"All the sandwiches are great! Good quantity and quality at a good price. Great options for vegetarians and vegans too. Almost any sandwich can be made vegetarian. Try the Don’s fire sauce and the tomato basil bisque! The place has had some recent challenges with staffing but Sandra (who runs the place) is great with her customers and has really gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction."

"Scam portions. Food is good, staff is 5 star but they put their salads in a 3- compartment container so you get way less than it looks like you're getting. ( compartments are small with big gaps between) Not a fan of deception. They also add really spicy stuff to salads that should not have any Spicy ingredients and don't mention spicy in the description so you have to remove the spicy ingredients, which is super annoying."

"Had The Slammer on Dutch bread. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh veggies, pastrami, roast beef, salami and cheddar. To die for!"

"We ordered in from DoorDash. The photos on the ad looked amazing. Our mouths watered waiting on our food to get here. When it arrived it looked disappointing but looks can be deceiving. They were not. Sandwiches were dry and lacked real flavor outside of the salty meats. We got The Melt and The Cold-cut Combo. The Caesar salad and potato salad were good. The Mac and cheese wasn’t and the fries were decent at best. Maybe this place is better in person."
