"I graduated in 2004 and decided to take the NCLEX this year after 18 years of finishing BS Nursing. With a lot of hardwork, prayers and Sir Don's class, I passed (Thank you Lord) the exam last September 2022! I am grateful that Sir Don and Ms Mary accommodated me via online live class since I am based in the Philippines. Sir Don's review style is very interactive which kept me awake and alert since the class was from 12am to 11am in PH time. "Let me share my AHEC story/journey. I was a foreign BSN Graduate year April 2011, came here in the USA October of 2011. Year 2012 when i started to apply for Nclex rn examination, but unfortunately i wasn't eligible at that time due to new curriculum of CA board that doesn't meet or i have a missing units. 2 years later i decided to challenge the nclex LVN but then i failed on my first try, it took me couple of years to retake since at that time i was discourage to take the board again. I was searching for a refresher course or a actual review class and came across AHEC. Fast forward 2018 of feb when i enrolled for NCLEX lvn review, Sir don's core content and the review materials were the only materials i used and focused on during mg review time. Not only sir don is an exceptional instructor he goes above and beyond he's teaching skills and makes sure we understand every topic, you really can feel that hes not doing it for business but he's doing it because he wanted to help nurses to achieve their dream license. He acts like a father in the class, and making sure all of us his children (students) understand every bit of it and be prepared for our actual board, fast forward April 2018 i passed my nclex LVN exam. 3 Years later (year 2021) i decided to sent in my application again for nclex rn and be evaluated again to be eligible for exam, 8 months later to my luck! I was evaluated and got approved to take my nclex rn exam without any deficiencies. I called sir don and enrolled on his november 2021 class for nclex rn review course. I did the same thing, i used only sir dons core content book, bullets and just listening and focusing on his class you will learn a lot! And pick up the right strategy on how you attack the nclex exam, he takes his time in explaining everything, and makes him self available everyday if you have any questions or concerned regarding your review study. After our 9 days course, i have 3 weeks left to study for my actual nclex exam day. I keep on reading over and over again sir dons core content book, its more easier to understand, and i feel confident that I'm understanding what im reading. Took my exam dec 23, got my result dec 25th that i passed! I will say it without any hesitations i couldn't done everything without sir don's help, aside from teaching he motivates us, and brings out the best in us! aside from being an educator, he always makes himself available to us. He really does care and wants his students to success! Sir don/ahec helped me so much with my nursing journey. Choosing ahec is one of my greatest decision i made with regard to my nursing journey. I will be forever grateful and thankful to sir don and ahec, and i will remember this for the rest of my life!"
