Adriana’s Insurance

"A) This is not an insurance company. They are a broker. I found this out AFTER my card was charged and there was a large discrepancy between what they said the premium would be, and what the total price ended up being. They did not tell me they were a broker, and charged me broker fees. B) They did all the communication by text, which is convenient because they chose to be intentionally vague about the entire transaction. They never said, by they I mean Johnathon Rodriguez, that they were a broker and there would be broker fees. Johnathon Rodriguez collected my license, registration, and card number, and charged my card without even sending me any documents. Over 30 minutes later, I received a receipt detailing the broker fees. C) Johnathon Rodriguez proceeded to play dumb as hell and gaslight me while I complained and pointed out there was no mention of broker fees. He kept telling me if you look at the last page of the documents I sent you, you will see there are broker fees. I said you can't use this in your defense when you charged my card before sending me this! He then tried to explain that, "I told you it was an initial payment." I said what does initial mean to you; To me it means first payment. And he agreed. Which makes no sense to continue saying that that means there is broker fees. The man never identified himself as a broker at any point. D) Johnathon Rodriguez then asks how can we fix this, and I said refund me the broker fees. And he said we cant do that and give you service for free. I said in this case you can because you lied to me and cheated me. Don't do that to the next guy. And he said we can't its company policy, he's not allowed. I said well you should write me a personal check for the fees you charged me. And he said I can't do that. I told him, no you won't. You cheated me and you have been caught, and you won't do the right thing. And he said that's right, I am not paying for someone else's insurance, and hung up on me. Just more gaslighting. E) I cannot wait to report this clown. I have receipts and time stamps, it's an open and shut case."

"I have been trying to contact this office to update my car policy for the pas week, but no one ever picks up. I’ve called a total of 5 times and each time, it rings for a couple seconds, and then it hangs up. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but clearly there are some major customer service/phone issues. Save yourself some time and frustration, Would not recommend."
